SEPTA Dilworth Plaza:
McKissack, as a subconsultant, provided project schedule reviews of both The Center City District (CCD) and SEPTA’s independent baseline schedule and incorporation into one consolidated project schedule. Additionally, McKissack advised on the status, provided recommendations, and performed Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) relative to the consolidated 24-month project schedule and prepared a report of findings. CCD and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) undertook two construction projects at Dilworth Plaza, located on the west side of Philadelphia’s City Hall. For the Dilworth Plaza and Concourse projects, the CCD retained a GC to relocate utilities; demolish and reconstruct the plaza and concourse; provide three new stairs, including stair pavilions, provide two new elevators; and provide landscaping, a water feature, a lawn and a café at plaza level.
For the City Hall Station project, SEPTA retained general, mechanical and electrical contractors to perform waterproofing at its North Revenue Repair Room, perform structural repairs in the abandoned PRT tunnel, provide three new elevators and provide two new fare lines.
