McKissack, in association with another firm, provided construction management services for the interior renovation of the Bronx County Civil Supreme Courthouse. This $17 million project included the renovation of 65,000 SF of interior space in the existing Supreme Court Building located at 851 Grand Concourse in the Bronx. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated New York City Landmark. All renovation and preservation efforts reflected the integrity and historic importance of the prominent structure, and comply with applicable guidelines and restrictions. Phased construction was required, as the existing courthouse remained operational during the renovation process. The phased methodology, dividing the facility into quadrants, was determined in concert with the design consultant during the schematic design phase.
