McKissack, as the managing partner in a joint venture, provided construction management services for the NYC School Construction Authority’s Emergency Response Program. This $75 million program required McKissack to provide on call services on a 24/7/365 basis to correct emergency situations in any NYC School. In addition, McKissack performed construction management services for priority projects that required expeditious responses.   During the summers of 2005 through 2009, the partners performed over $56 million of this work on 112 schools, completing all projects within eight weeks and ensuring successful September openings. During the construction phase, a team of construction managers supervised the work of nine contractors to assure that all renovation work was within scope and quality parameters.
