Our team brings valuable “best practices” from post-disaster FEMA and Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) programs locally and nationally. This experience has allowed McKissack staff to develop strong capabilities, processes, procedures, and trained personnel that understand the nature of these programs. Our team members have conducted financial assessments and provided grant administrative services in compliance with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and applicable regulations relating to funding sources.

Throughout the course of recovery and resiliency related projects that our team has administered locally and nationally, we have developed a unique understanding of FEMA, CDBG-DR, HUD, and relevant regulatory agencies’ policies and procedures. We assure compliance with all related FEMA, HUD and M/WBE regulations. We have HUD and FEMA Subject Matter Experts to address and provide technical guidance on any related regulatory and administrative concerns.
