MEP Superintendent, New York, NY
Salary Range: $230,000 – $250,000
Position Overview:
The MEP Superintendent will oversee and manage all of the trades in the field within each discipline, including its organization, planning and scheduling in order to complete the work on time, within the budget and to quality specified. In the performance of this function, the MEP Superintendent is responsible to protect and promote the interest of TMG and the Owner in all MEP matters and to take actions, as required, to satisfy responsibilities which include, but are not limited to the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
- To have sufficient knowledge of all MEP trades contracts and subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications and to develop the onsite plans and procedures for the implementation including quality control efforts.
- To develop within the project documents, the quality control procedures and requirements.
- To have thorough knowledge of the job and to see that the work is performed as specified on drawings and specs.
- To plan and review the construction program with the General Superintendent including procedures, plan layout, equipment, and manpower.
- To work with the General Superintendent in the preparation of the construction project schedule, to keep him properly updated, and to see that the job does whatever is feasible to meet the required dates.
- To set up all project MEP requirements for temporary construction services.
- To examine all MEP drawings and specifications for design deficiencies, impractical details and constructability issues, and to refer any findings to the General Superintendent, who will bring them to the attention of the Engineer of Record.
- To work with the General Superintendent in scheduling and expediting the delivery of all MEP materials and equipment furnished by the Contractor and subcontractors, and to assume the primary responsibility for their timely onsite delivery.
- To coordinate, direct, and monitor the daily activities of all subcontractors, labor, and material.
- To coordinate, and direct when necessary, the activities of inspection agencies and to effect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies.
- To keep the General Superintendent currently informed as to changes made in the field, so that such changes may be covered by change orders and subcontract change orders, to properly authorize, validate, and process all documents involving changes.
- To review and approve monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and all other disbursements.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures for electrical work. Report all unsafe activities to client and Project Director.
- Inspect all MEP material and equipment at factory and in field as required to enforce plans, specs and material procurement requirements. Attend and witness all factory and field tests and provide written reports of same.
- Review and comment on shop drawings and field Sketches for MEP work at site.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Architecture, and/or Construction related field
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with large number of people to ensure successful project execution.
- 7 plus years’ experience in all phases of construction
- Management of MEP trades
- Experience Procore or Planner System and Excel is a plus.

Program QA/Technical Standards Project Lead, Queens, NY
Salary Range: $215,000 – $220,000
Position Overview:
The Program Special Inspections Director serves as the senior authority responsible for all Program Level Special Inspections (SI) activities. This role functions as the primary DOB signatory, owner’s representative, and liaison to all Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). The Director ensures uniform compliance across multiple permits, manages inspection strategies, and mitigates regulatory and schedule risks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Program Technical Standards Manual and discipline-specific QA criteria.
- Perform QA audits of active inspection work and associated documentation.
- Provide technical interpretation for complex inspections (e.g., structural, geotechnical, fire protection).
- Validate inspection results and ensure alignment with design documents and DOB requirements.
- Review nonconformance reports (NCRs) and assist in developing corrective action plans.
- Support training and upskilling for MWBE inspection firms participating in the program.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between design engineers, contractors, and inspection teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed PE or another relevant advanced technical credential.
- Minimum 10 years of QA/QC, engineering, or inspection experience.
- Expertise in multiple SI categories preferred.

MEP Senior Project Manager, Queens, NY
Salary Range: $200,000 – $215,000
Position Overview:
Responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and financial performance of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes from preconstruction through project closeout. This role provides both strategic project leadership and field coordination oversight to ensure MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and quality standards.
The MEP Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for MEP scope performance and acts as the central liaison between ownership, design teams, field leadership, and subcontractors. This role protects and promotes the interests of the company and Owner while proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving successful project outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Execution
- Provide overall leadership for all MEP project phases including preconstruction, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop and manage MEP project execution plans including staffing strategy, logistics, phasing, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure MEP work is performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems installation and coordination.
- Proven leadership ability across both field and office teams.
- Experience with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, change management, and cost control practices.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project environments.
- OSHA 30 preferred.

Position Overview:
Supervises the field construction of a project, including its organization, planning, scheduling, and enforcing safety, in order to complete the work on time, within the budget and quality specified. In the performance of this function, the Project Manager is responsible for protecting and promoting the interest of McKissack in all matters and taking actions, as required, to satisfy responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administration of the project through all phases
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
- Conduct construction meetings and owner project meetings
- Manage the budget and schedule
- Manage quality control
- Manage the activities of the prime contractor(s).
