Site Supervisor / Superintendent: Waterfront – All Levels, New York, NY
Salary Range: $80,000 to $165,000
We will have a few positions to fill with construction professionals with different levels of experience to join our team here at McKissack, NYC, Construction.
Summary:
We are seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at McKissack. This role is pivotal in overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be based in the United States and will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional construction services
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Coordinate project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality control and adherence to specifications.
- Manage project documentation and reporting using tools like Prolog and Primavera.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate project progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera or Prolog is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Assistant Superintendent, New York, NY
Salary Range: Up to $116,000.00 per year
- 3-years+ (plus) of experience in managing or monitoring construction projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience managing or monitoring at least two (2) projects (valued 1-million and up each)
- Experience in Infrastructure Projects
- The ability to understand and interpret contract documents such as specifications, drawings, and shop drawings
- Training and Experience in Safety and Quality Assurance
- Public Agency Experience

Project Control Engineer, New York, NY
Salary Range: From $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field
- 2-5 years of construction project experience (on-site experience preferred)
- Proficiency with construction technology including Primavera P6, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite of programs. BIM experience is a plus
- Ability to interface professionally with client/tenants to communicate work plans and logistics
- Individual will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent and collaborate with all project team members including subcontractors and the design team to prepare routine, reoccurring reports.
- Directly responsible tracking, maintenance, and distribution of all project documents including approved drawings, specifications, project documents, and onsite records
- Experience working with New York City or State public agencies is a plus
- Museum/Cultural experience is a plus

Project Manager: Waterfront – All Levels, New York, NY
Salary Range: Depending on experience – $80,000 to $165,000
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering required;
- Master’s degree in Structural, Geotechnical, or Coastal engineering preferred;
- Professional Engineer licensure in New York State or ability to achieve reciprocity required waterfront/marine experience;
- Proven experience in preparing technical reports, specifications, construction plans, and waterfront facility inspections;
- Proven experience in project management including: writing proposals, running/coordinating projects, managing clients, managing billings, reviewing the work of staff and mentoring staff;
- Strong understanding of codes and other regulatory requirements;
- Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software;
- Possess an entrepreneurial and professional demeanor, as well as strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills;
- Desire and ability to seek out new business opportunities and develop additional clients while maintaining project workload;
- Ability to coach and assist with the management of staff;
- Demonstrated ability to work with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies;
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and social skills; and
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing
