McKissack has extensive disaster recovery and resiliency experience and capabilities. Our staff has partnered with clients to successfully deliver these professional services on numerous recovery and rebuild efforts in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, and other locations throughout the United States.

McKissack’s Disaster Recovery & Resiliency Services include:

Our team brings valuable “best practices” from post-disaster FEMA and Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) programs locally and nationally. This experience has allowed McKissack staff to develop strong capabilities, processes, procedures, and trained personnel that understand the nature of these programs. Our team members have conducted financial assessments and provided grant administrative services in compliance with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and applicable regulations relating to funding sources.

Throughout the course of recovery and resiliency related projects that our team has administered locally and nationally, we have developed a unique understanding of FEMA, CDBG-DR, HUD, and relevant regulatory agencies’ policies and procedures. We assure compliance with all related FEMA, HUD and M/WBE regulations. We have HUD and FEMA Subject Matter Experts to address and provide technical guidance on any related regulatory and administrative concerns.

McKissack works with both government agencies and private sector organizations to improve protection and security of lives and infrastructure, and to help communities quickly recover from disasters. McKissack integrates technology and real-world experience to provide customers with solutions that work and outcomes that matter. Since 1905, the firm’s innovative strategies, technologies, and solutions have helped public sector and private industry customers achieve measurable results—saving lives, reducing costs, increasing efficiencies, and improving decision making.
